Point pleasant - Seizoen 1

Tijdens een verschrikkelijke zomerstorm in het kustplaatsje Point Pleasant spoelt de bewusteloze Christina Nickson op het strand aan. Zij wordt uit de branding gered en naar het huis van de plaatselijke arts gebracht. Vreemd genoeg wil de tiener niet dat iemand contact opneemt met haar familie. Hoe langer Christina in Point Pleasant verblijft, des te groter blijkt de bovennatuurlijke en dodelijke invloed die zij op de bewoners van het stadje heeft wat uiteindelijk tot de ultieme confrontatie tussen goed en kwaad zal leiden.
