From the most obscure harbor bar to the largest festival, from Asia to America: the Antwerp tango fusion band El Juntacadaveres always gave and continues to give. The group stands out for its perfect mix between rock music, traditional tango orchestras and the rebelliousness of the contemporary music scene. Their debut album 'De Platino' was received with great enthusiasm: "Forget the pretentious tango misrepresentations of Gotan Project.(.) El Juntacadaveres commands respect in all kinds of ways." (Mixedworldmusic) In their ten years of existence, the group released three studio albums and contributed to several compilation releases. They toured Europe, Asia and America, performing in clubs and festivals. They also made music for art projects and theater. In 2022, El Juntacadaveres toured Mexico around the 'Dia de los Muertos', a festival that is celebrated exuberantly on November 1 and 2, i.e. on All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. This 'Dia de los Muertos' of course resonated beautifully with their band name. During a concert in Valle de Bravo they recorded their latest live album: 'Hecho en Mxico', which will be available on CD and vinyl.
