In de jungle van Ecuador zit er bloed in het water. De twijfelachtige alliantie tussen een multinational en een bloeddorstig militair regime heeft geleid tot een ware slachting. Alleen de rebel Francisco Franco (Forest Whitaker, Repo Men) en zijn vastberaden vrouw Mia (Eva Longoria, Desparate Housewives) kunnen de waarheid aan het licht brengen. Om een persoonlijk schuld in te lossen, neemt CIA agent Jack Begosian (Andy Garcia, Ocean's 13) de freelance opdracht aan om Francisco te redden en verzeilt daarbij in een brutale strijd, waar hij alles op het spel moet zetten om de doofpot-actie bloot te leggen.
