PLOT SUMMARY: "Between the wind and the lion is the woman. For her, half the world may go to war." At the beginning of the 20th century an American woman is abducted in Morocco by Berbers. The attempts to free her range from diplomatic pressure to military intervention. ABOUT THE DVD: This is a Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment release for the NETHERLANDS market (Region 2 PAL format - exactly the same as the UK, so there will be no problems playing it on standard DVD players in this country). The text on the rear of the packaging is in Dutch. The audiotrack is in the original English (with French, German, Spanish or Italian options too, if required), subtitles are available in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch or Spanish. The menus are all in English, so are easily navigated. The film is presented in widescreen format (16:9 ratio) and there is a Scene Selection menu on the disc, there are also trailers for other Columbia DVD releases on the disc.
