Bancroft is een briljant politievrouw die haar leven geeft aan haar werk. Hierdoor wordt zij vertrouwd en bewonderd door haar collega's en de benoeming tot hoofdinspecteur lijkt verzekerd. Ze leidt een operatie om de gewelddadige Kamara bende te stoppen. Ze gebruikt hierbij echter dubieuze methoden. De oudste Kamara broer regeert de gemeenschap echter met harde hand, dus is niemand echt tegen Bancrofts aanpak.
