Een afgestudeerde studente poogt haar onderzoek omtrent een boek, waarvan ze hoopt dat deze haar moeder kan helpen, af te ronden. Ze nodigt haar vrienden uit in een huis dat een donker verleden kent. Daar roepen de vrouwen onwetend een kwade entiteit op die het huis en de dames zal gebruiken in zijn spel.
