Here is the first complete cycle recorded by Karajan of Beethoven's symphonies with the Berlin Philharmonic. This legendary performance was recorded in 1961/62 at the Berlin Christ Church in Dahlem and was the world's first orchestral production in stereo quality. This was one of the most ambitious and successful projects in recording history.
