Vier Songs des prominenten Rhythm’n’Blues-Sängers als 7“-Vinyl im wunderschön gestalteten 4c-Artwork auf El Toro. Lloyd Price (1933-2021) wurde mit vielfach gecoverten Hits wie „Lawdy Miss Clawdy“ oder „Stagger Lee“ weltbekannt und schließlich 1989 auch in die „Rock and Roll Hall of Fame“ aufgenommen. Seit den frühen fünfziger Jahren hatte er zahlreiche Charthits und trat intensiv live auf. Mit KRC gründete er sich sogar ein eigenes Label, auf dem die hier enthaltenen vier Songs erschienen. Weitere Aufnahmen des Sängers aus Louisiana erschienen auf ABC-Paramount und Speciality.
