Dion DiMucci established himself as “the king of doo-wop” in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s. His sound exemplified the indigenous music of the Bronx streets where he was raised. Presented here is his classic second solo album, Runaround Sue, originally released on the Laurie label in 1961, after he split with The Belmonts.
