Ornette Coleman s seminal album Ornette! (Atlantic SD1378) in its entirety. It features the saxophonist in a quartet format with Don Cherry, Scott LaFaro, and Ed Blackwell. Recorded (at Atlantic Recording Studios, New York, January 31, 1961) right after the classic LP Free Jazz, the four tracks from Ornette! were taped during the course of a single session, which also produced three extra songs, added here as a bonus.
