It was the second solo piano LP recorded by Monk for the Riverside label (after Thelonious Himself) and the third unaccompanied work of his career. As a bonus the label has added the only solo piano tracks from two of Monk s 1961 European concerts, and the complete 1958 trio performance by Thelonious at Newport. Includes 12-page booklet.
