Get It Together The Jackson Five The eighth studio album by the Jackson 5, Get It Together (aka G.I.T.) was released by Motown in 1973. It features the hit “Get It Together” and the original version of the subsequent hit “Dancing Machine.” G.I.T. was one of the earliest albums to experiment with a disco sound, and the first to feature lead singer Michael, then 14 years old, with a slightly deeper, tenor singing voice.
