Monika Lao is a pianist and multidisciplinary artist born in Terrassa (Barcelona) “There is no such thing as bad luck. All the situations, all the people who have been part of my life for more or less time have left a mark. Sometimes a small footprint or an imprint on others. Sometimes this mark has been positive and sometimes not so positive, but the sum of each and every one of them has made me the way I am today. For many years I have written music without daring to share it, the feeling of baring my soul was too intense for me. But I think the time has come when I feel ready to do so, and to thank all the people who have walked beside me for their contribution to my life and my art.
