Trinca De Ases

Trinca De Ases is een nieuw project van de drie Braziliaanse supersterren Gal Costa, Gilberto Gil en Nando Reis. Ze kwamen voor het eerst samen om de 100e geboortedag van Ulises Guimaraes te vieren, de Braziliaanse politicus die tegen de militaire dictatuur vocht. Zonder noemenswaardige repetities was het concert zo'n groot succes dat er een hele tour inclusief deze (live) dubbel-cd volgde. Het gitaarspel is prachtig, de stem van Costa onthult nieuwe nuances in het werk van Gil en Reis.
