Gulli björnsson es un guitarrista y compositor islandés que actualmente vive en Phoenix, Arizona. Escrito en 2015 y dedicado a Steve cowan, “Arctic Sonata” fue estrenado por Steve en el Toronto guitar Weekend en abril de 2016. La pieza está inspirada en las dos sagas Island es as (la saga de Erik el rojo y la saga de Groenlandia) que cuentan la historia de los vikingos que colonizaron Groenlandia y América del norte y esta es la primera grabación que se realiza. El álbum también incluye piezas de guitarra solista de Albert Roussel, Darius Milhaud, Jacques ibert, Francis Poulenc, Frank Martin, Camargo guarnieri, Mario gangi, Adam khatchaturian, en ni o Morrison y Cyril Scott.
