Un dottore formula rivoluzionarie teorie sul trapianto dell'occhio umano nella speranza di ridare la vista alla giovane figlia, resa cieca da un incidente, passato rapidamente dalle congetture alla pratica, l'uomo inizia a rapire persone per privarle dagli occhi, necessari al trapianto. Ad ogni crisi di rigetto la trafila si ripete in un crescendo di follia, sino a quando il responsabile di tanti orrori non verrà punito dalle proprie stesse vittime.
