Bahram è un regista quarantenne azero-iraniano che ha trascorso la carriera a realizzare film nella sua lingua madre senza che questi venissero mai proiettati in Iran. Quando il Ministero della cultura censura per l'ennesima volta il suo ultimo film sulla base di argomentazioni sempre più speciose, Bahram decide di mettersi in sella alla sua Vespa assieme alla sua produttrice Sadaf, per presentare clandestinamente di tappa in tappa il film al pubblico, un atto di ribellione verso la censura di regime, la stolida burocrazia e le sempreverdi costrizioni del cinema commerciale.
