“THE WIND - IL VENTO”, tratto dal romanzo omonimo di Dorothy Scarborough, la giovane Letty viene invitata dal cugino Beverly a stare nel suo ranch. Sul treno che la deve portare nella sua nuova casa, viene adocchiata dal viscido Roddy che le rivela come il posto in cui si sta recando sia noto per essere perennemente soggetto a violente raffiche di vento. A complicare ulteriormente le cose interviene la moglie del cugino, Cora che teme che Letty le porti via il marito. La protagonista, dopo aver rifiutato la proposta di matrimonio di Roddy, è quindi costretta a sposare Lige pur senza amandolo. Terrorizzata dal vento e dai suoi fantasmi, Letty affronterà le proprie paure fino al colpo di scena finale e liberatorio… mentre il tormento psicologico e fisico del soffiare incessante del vento scava le coscienze!
