Italian Marcello Di Leonardo presents his first project as a leader. For his first CD, a jazz legend, saxophonist Rick Margitza (Miles Davis, Maria Schneider, Steps Ahead) is included. The rhythm group is completed with two masters on their instruments, Dario Rosciglione on double bass and Julian Oliver Mazzariello on the piano. Recorded in the studios of Casa del Jazz, The Magic Box offers original songs composed exclusively by Di Leonardo that take us on a journey into the 60s and 70s when jazz was the soundtrack of the most beautiful films
