Impressions

Al meer dan dertig jaar draagt het Ethnic Heritage Ensemble groep de Amerikaanse traditie van percussieve jazz uit, vanuit een duidelijk Afrikaans-Chicago-Amerikaans perspectief. Opgericht in 1973 door percussionist Kahil El'Zabar, is dit, hun tweede album en het eerste voor Red Records (1982). De plaat is opgenomen in Bologna, ItaliÙ, juni 1981. Het is een zeer gewilde lp bij verzamelaars. Nu opnieuw uitgebracht als 180 grams vinyl en in gelimiteerde opname.
