From the Top Jazz award in 2007 to today, Luca Aquino has had many experiences. Among the countless important collaborations, those with Sting, Manu Katché, Jon Hassell, Lucio Dalla and Mimmo Paladino should be mentioned. Hundreds of concerts and recordings all over the world. Original, enlightened and far-sighted projects, recorded in historic and spectacular art locations, including the archaeological site of Petra in Jordan, the Wadi Rum desert and the Quam theater on the border with Syria. The tours in the Balkans, in Scandinavia, in Germany, in the whole of Europe, the French experience and above all the one in the Middle East. His two major facial injuries, which he later miraculously recovered but which kept the Italian jazz musician, so acclaimed abroad, away from the trumpet and the stage for three years.
