Canto Terrestre

The fourth disc by the volcanic trumpeter Giovanni Falzone collects a series of songs composed in an unconventional form. The main objective of this project is to retrace, according to the leader's personal vision, executive moments with well-defined structures for all the instruments and moments of pure "interplay", i.e. the desire to carry forward a common thought, starting from a small he creates a collective musical discourse, based above all on thematic improvisation and on the use of electronics. The compositions are characterized by strong rhythmic and melodic components - imbued with suggestions ranging from Mediterranean Folk to Punk/Rock - through which the Trio moves the entire soundscape. Capable and attentive musicians with whom Falzone has established a relationship of complicity and musical understanding are part of this project, thanks above all to their sensitivity and ability to perceive every little signal.
