Un poliziotto sta indagando sulla misteriosa scomparsa di un vecchio attore di film horror dalla casa che aveva preso in affitto. Interrogato, l'agente immobiliare racconta gli strani avvenimenti occorsi nel tempo agli abitanti di quella vecchia casa: uno scrittore ossessionato da uno dei suoi personaggi divenuto reale, due amici di vecchia data che trovano una loro ex-fiamma raffigurata in un museo delle cere dopo essere stata uccisa, una baby-sitter che scopre nella bambina a lei affidata i poteri malefici di una piccola strega e infine l'attore scomparso trasformato in vampiro.
