Martha, Rossano, Loretta, Bric e Brac, Oscar sono attori che versano in una situazione di crisi professionale. Giunti all'acme della disperazione, ricevono ciascuno una lettera da Alessio, un amico comune, che contiene un invito a soggiornare per qualche tempo in un castello.
