Patrizia, una giovane giornalista, è stufa di non essere tenuta in considerazione dal suo direttore. Pur di riuscire a ottenere un incarico, lancia una sfida al suo capo: se riuscirà a scrivere articoli decenti sarà promossa, altrimenti dovrà concedersi a lui per una notte.
