A simply wonderful disc, where the electronic music of the Bolognese band becomes evocative of worlds light years away, perhaps lost in time and certainly dwell in our dreams. There is a very strong level, precisely from an evocative point of view. Everything is careful, everything is calibrated, everything is dreamy: what a great job!. Machina ex Devs is a work that goes back to the essence of sound and the approach to contemporary ethnic music. They worked maniacally on the sound quality of the ethnic instruments, almost all played live with little use of electronics and we are very satisfied with the result Despite the apparent simplicity of the arrangements it was a very complex and delicate work, especially in terms of sound design. An album, therefore, at the same time ancient and modern. An album that is certainly not simple, experimental but never obscure and cryptic.
