The album 'Largo di Castello' is a project that is courageous. It is because this album is actually a challenge between research and imagination. This project was born from particular and specific studies. The only instruments used in this work are instruments which, for this specific repertoire, were very common in Naples in the 17th and 18th centuries: colascione, chitarra battente and chitarrino battente. A charismatic voice that dances on distorted and overbearing sounds: Alessia Luongo tells stories of love, devotion, work and pain with a strong voice and guitar. Everything that happened in what were the squares of antiquity, whose splendid spontaneity continues in the songs that are still handed down today.
