SINOSSI
Germania dell'Est, ottobre 1989. La mamma di Alex, attivista per il progresso sociale e il miglioramento della vita nel regime socialista, cade in coma. Si risveglia otto mesi più tardi quando, nel frattempo, è stato abbattuto il muro di Berlino ed è stata abolita la divisione tra la Germania Est e Ovest. Alex non potrebbe essere più felice per il risveglio della madre ma ha un grande problema: deve evitarle qualsiasi shock visto che il suo cuore è ancora molto debole.
