SINOSSI
Per cercare di superare il trauma dell’aborto, la Dottoressa Tora (Radha Mitchell) si trasferisce con il marito (Rupert Graves) nelle Shetland, a largo delle coste scozzesi. Qui la donna fa un terribile ritrovamento: un cadavere con strani simboli sul corpo a cui è stato strappato il cuore dal petto. Quella che inizialmente sembrava essere una vecchia vittima di antichi rituali, si scoprirà essere invece l’omicidio recente di una donna che ha da poco partorito. Tora verrà risucchiata in un fitto mistero di donne scomparse subito dopo il parto la cui sparizione sembra essere collegata direttamente ai vecchi miti dell’isola.
