Marco Buratti, detto l'Alligatore, è un ex cantante di Blues ingiustamente condannato a sette anni di carcere. Dietro le sbarre, l'uomo ha messo da parte la musica per diventare un investigatore molto particolare. Insieme a due amici, altrettanto particolari, costruisce una "band" che rivela le malefatte di organizzazioni criminali e di ambienti collusi dalla facciata pulita.
