SINOSSI
Momenti nelle vite dei componenti di un piccolo gruppo di gangster di New York distribuiti su circa 40 anni. La storia, narrata con frequente uso di flashback e flash forward, è incentrata su David "Noodles" Aronson e i suoi compagni di sempre (sono cresciuti insieme nel Lower East Side): Cockeye, Patsy e Max. Si va dagli Anni Venti al tramonto del Proibizionismo per finire agli Anni Sessanta quando Noodles, ormai anziano, torna a New York. Tutto ciò non necessariamente in quest'ordine.
