La civilta' come la conosciamo e' stata distrutta e al suo posto e' nato un ordine mondiale anti-utopico dove il controllo del pianeta e' nelle mani di sette Corporation onnipotenti. L'America e' governata dalla potentissima e totalitaria Tekken Corporation e dal suo Amministratore Delegato Mishima che controlla le sorti del mondo dalla propria sede centrale situata nella capitale Tekken City dove vive Jin Kazama. Il giovane ha un solo desiderio: uccidere l'uomo che ha voluto la morte di sua madre. Per vendicarsi deve sconfiggere i piu' grandi lottatori del mondo e vincere l'Iron Fist Tournament.
