Per tentare di impedire che il marito senza scrupoli della loro madre adottiva si appropri di un gioiello molto prezioso, tre orfani decidono di rubarlo. Per non venire accusati del furto del prezioso monile sono costretti ad arruolarsi nella Legione Straniera. Appena arrivati in Marocco i tre uomini si accorgono di quanto sia dura la vita militare. Sulla loro strada, oltre a feroci tuareg, i neoarruolati trovano anche un sadico sergente.
