Il giovanotto fa il lattaio ma ha grandi ambizioni. Per esempio quella di diventare un grande pugile, visto che ha sostenuto alcuni incontri vincendoli grazie alla sua velocità di gambe. Ma non gli va sempre bene, visto che ha muscoli grossi come grissini, ma la fortuna lo aiuta: il boss della sua ditta ammira le qualità e decide di sostenerlo. Come in molte altre commedie da lui interpretate, anche qui Kaye, al suo 3 film, da illustre sconosciuto diventa "qualcuno". Ha il dono della simpatia. Diretto con gusto, il film è pieno di trovate felici. Rifacimento di La via lattea (1936) con H. Lloyd.
