Al suo ultimo giorno di lavoro, il giudice Saracini riceve un nastro Super 8. Si tratta di una ripresa fatta nel ’78 da un terrazzo di via Fani, la mattina in cui fu rapito Aldo Moro. Pochi giorni dopo, il magistrato viene avvicinato nuovamente dallo stesso sconosciuto che gli ha consegnato il nastro, l’uomo gli rivela di sapere dove si trova un memoriale sul caso del rapimento di Moro. Il giudice dovrà decidere cosa fare, lavarsene le mani o mettere a rischio la propria vita per scoprire la verità.
