Silentium

la splendida citta' di salisburgo, luogo del festival musicale dedicato a mozart, sembra essere precipitata in un incubo e essere diventata meta di strani suicidi. una delle morti piu' illustri e' quella di gottlieb dornhelm, genero del presidente del festival. la sua vedova, konstanze, e' convinta che suo marito non si sarebbe mai ucciso ed e' convinta, quindi, che si tratti di omicidio. la sua teoria e' sorretta dal fatto che il marito, pochi giorni prima di morire, aveva rivelato alla stampa i retroscena della sua "educazione" in seminario. konstanze, decisa a sapere la verita' ingaggia un investigatore, brenner. ma l'inchiesta sembra brancolare nel buio: che rapporti ci sono tra padre fitz e il presidente del festival, e perche' l'aiutante del convento e' scomparso nel nulla? cosa c'e' dietro? gli avvenimenti sembrano sfuggire di mano al detective.
