Sentieri Servaggi, one of the most importan Italian ensembles of contemporary classical music, conducted by Carlo Boccadoro, have asked Eugenio Finardi to take part to their special tribute work to Vladimir Vysotsky, one of the greatest Russian contemporary Russian poets and singer songwriter. Though persecuted by the regime throughout his life, Vysotsky, thanks to his music, managed to spread his voice around Russia. The album contains 10 amongst Vysotsky's most representative songs, full of his ethic, spiritual and political beliefs and with that ironic touch that distinguish his work. Finardi has interpreted them in a very good way from a technical and philological point of view.
