L’ep “El Tigre” è il terzo lavoro discografico degli Holy Fathers, band veronese che nasce ufficialmente nel febbraio 2013 composta da Marco Giacomozzi (chitarra e voce), Damir Jellici (voce e cembalo), Gigi Sabelli (batteria e ovetti), Luca Crispino (chitarra solista), Riccardo Ferfoglia (basso elettrico). Gli Holy Fathers racchiudono in un unico sound le esperienze eterogenee dei musicisti: rock a bassa fedeltà, ballate dal sapore West Coast, jazz notturno, reggae, marce balcaniche, folklore mediterraneo e mitteleuropeo e tanti altri riferimenti per cui Vinicio Capossela sembra convivere con i Sonic Youth. Cinque tracce uniche ed imprevedibili che appassionano l’ascoltatore trasportandolo in un mondo parallelo dal sapore retrò e vintage. La copertina è un’illustrazione tratta da un manifesto circense degli anni ’40. Registrato mixato e masterizzato presso il Cat Sound Studio dall’ingegnere del suono Mario Marcassa.
