The LAST DROP of BLOOD è assieme il titolo del disco ed il nome della nuova band formata dal nucleo di musicisti già coinvolti nei progetti Facciascura, Ranj e Claudia Or Die. Francesco Cappiotti (chitarra), Carlo Cappiotti (voce), Chris Meggiolaro (basso), Simone Marchioretti (batteria), Andrea Ferigo (chitarra) e Claudia Or Die (tastiere e sintetizzatori) hanno dato vita ad un progetto musicale internazionale sotto la guida del produttore e compositore americano Shawn Lee (celebre per aver lavorato con artisti del calibro di Jeff Buckley ed Amy Winehouse). Grazie alla produzione scintillante di Lee, che ha anche partecipato alle incisioni come musicista aggiunto, la musica dei the LAST DROP of BLOOD ha il sapore di un classico contemporaneo: sette nuove composizioni in lingua inglese, in cui un rock puro e radicale si mischia perfettamente ad elettronica e suggestioni da colonna sonora. Canzoni fuori da un'epoca storica precisa, capaci di evocare atmosfere da serie televisiva americana, tra rock, elettronica, western postmoderno e blues di palude.
