Style: Post-punk. First print: 500 copies in digipak.Tanks and Tears is an Italian shoegaze/post-punk band formed in Prato and composed by Matteo Cecchi (vocals/bass), Claudio Pinellini (guitar) and Francesco Ciulli (drum). They mix 80's post-punk atmospheres with sonorities of the 90's Seattle grunge scene guitars. Their first released was a demo, published free on the web in May 2014, that received hymnic reviews! Encouraged by this and enforced by extensive and intense live activity, in November 2015 the band recorded their first official work; "KNOW YOURSELF", that was originally available in selected territories only and that we are now able to offer for the first time (see further down). Already the sonic aesthethics of Know Yourself were amazing, Aware turns out to be even more mature and balanced! A band to look at/listen to closely! The all new album features 10 tracks of inspired and original post-punk that appear to sound as fresh as if the 80s were NOW!
