Come tutti i bambini del Ventiduesimo secolo, Godoh nasce da una provetta e viene allevato da un robot tuttofare. Anche il suo futuro è deciso da altri: diventerà un cacciatore dello spazio. Godoh si dimostra infatti molto abile e viene prescelto per catturare Cosmozoo 2772, una misteriosa e terribile creatura spaziale. Ma Godoh, lassù nello spazio, non rispetta più le regole… Creato ed animato dal grande Osamu Tezuka, ‘L’Uccello di Fuoco - Hino Tori 2772’ porta sul grande schermo e in DVD il mito della fenice che compare regolarmente nelle opere del celebre sensei. All’epoca fu il film d’animazione più costoso mai realizzato in Giappone.
