Maxophone

Maxophone, from Milan, formed in 1973 as a six-piece with an unusual assortment of instruments, all members previously music students. A band of great talent and musicianship, their only LP, released in 1975, came a little too late to compete with the other important prog rock Italian bands and went sadly unnoticed. 'Maxophone', was originally released on the Produttori Associati label and is full of dreamy atmospheres and complex horn arrangements, with vocal parts in a Genesis style.
