storia vera (ma romanzata) di joseph pujol, attore francese di varieta' che divenne famoso come paganini del peto, per la sua capacita' di emettere con lo sfintere, in gamma varia, suoni, arie e venti dall'ano. comincia in farsa spetezzante, diventa commedia drammatica, sfiora il melodramma e si chiude in chiave di satira politica. le intenzioni sono serie, qua e la' il copione traballa, la regia e' un po' inamidata.
