Risvegli

un neurologo, il giovane dottor malcom sayer, timoroso ma determinato, decide di far uscire diversi pazienti catatonici dal loro lungo sonno. sayer scopre che questi malati hanno avuto, vent'anni prima, la stessa malattia, l'encefalite letargica e osserva in loro alcune piccole reazioni. convinto che questi pazienti siano vivi dentro, il dottor sayer inizia a sperimentare su di loro un farmaco che ha ottenuto gia' successo sui malati di parkinson. e, improvvisamente, i malati si risvegliano.
