Mounted model length 16.5cm The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was developed in the 1950s and was one of the most famous and popular light attack aircraft in aviation history. It was characterised by a simple design, with low delta wings and small side vents, but extremely functional for operational applications. Derived as an evolution from the original layout, the OA-4M Skyhawk is a two-seater lightweight attack and advanced training version designed to meet the operational needs of the United States Marine Corps. Developed by McDonnell Douglas in the 1970s, the OA-4M was born with the aim of supporting single-seaters in missions of tactical support, reconnaissance and operational training of pilots. Definitely advanced in avionics, compared to previous versions, the OA-4M was able to employ a wider and more advanced variety of weapon systems.
