The LMV Lince lightweight tactical multi-purpose vehicle was developed in the early 2000s by the Italian company Iveco Defence Vehicles to meet the needs of a latest generation lightweight armored vehicle for troop transport and advanced reconnaissance that can work on any terrain and under all operating conditions. It is still considered one of the most successful lightweight tactical vehicles in its class, offering a good level of protection against fire and splinters.
