Trailers Sd. Anhanger 51 could be easily employed by a large number of Wehrmacht vehicles. They were mainly intended for the transport of ammunition and were often associated with armed vehicles such as semicingolates equipped with 20mm Flak anti-aircraft guns. In addition to transport ammunition, during military campaigns, they were often used for the transport of any kind of material. The low U-shaped frame was extremely robust and suitable for all road and off-road use
