PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Scania R143 M Streamline was a milestone in the production of the famous Scandinavian manufacturer and achieved great success in several European and non-European markets from the late 80s to the mid-90s. The Scania R143M, assembled in Södertälje, Sweden, was one of the most successful models of the "Series 3", following the innovative "Series 2" of the 1980s and was introduced by Scania in 1987. Thanks to its 500 HP V8 engine, it is powerful and reliable and has been constructed with the most advanced technology of the time. Great attention has been paid to the construction to reduce drag and minimize fuel consumption - an important factor for success in long-distance and heavy transport. The Scania two-wheel drive tractor unit has also been appreciated for its ease of maintenance and low operating costs.
