AMA

'AMA' was conceived during the first confinement of Covid. Najwa developed the concept based on the beauty around us as a reaction to the dramatic situation that was unfolding, but also as a counterpoint to the characters she has played in recent years in the series Locked up/Vis a Vis and Money Heist/ La Casa De Papel, so intense and extreme that impacted viewers around the world. For this, she resorted to iconic songs created in the first half of the 20th century ('Muñequita Linda', 'Solamente Una Vez', 'Perfidia', 'Acércate Más', etc.), true universal classics of popular music that she has adapted to a current sound, for which she has also had exceptional vocal collaborations: the pop star Pablo Alborán, the flamenco singer Israel Fernández, Rusowsky and the actor Alvaro Morte (main actor in La Casa de Papel). Never a bolero sounded so now.
