„My Vreemde Kind“ ist das Debütalbum der Wiener Singer/Songwriterin mit südafrikanischen Wurzeln, Clara Montocchio.

Sie erzählt in ihren auf Englisch und in ihrer Muttersprache Afrikaans gesungenen Liedern Geschichten von Verbundenheit und Sehnsucht, von Verlust und der Suche nach Identität. Das ergibt Folk-Pop, der unter die Haut geht: ehrlich und intensiv bringt sie die teils komplexe, improvisationsreiche, dann wieder filigran-simple Musik zum Leuchten.
